Southwestern Advantage is one of 20+ companies within the Southwestern Family of Companies. Since 1868, Southwestern Advantage has offered a sales & leadership program that gives university students a way to afford their degrees, gain entrepreneurial skills, and build character.

Each summer, a sales force of nearly 1,500 independent student reps market educational tools to families across the US & Canada. We currently have about 150,000 living alumni around the world, working in a variety of professions. Students who complete a summer with us gain access to this alumni network, as well as career opportunities within our Family of Companies.

Our Midwestern division of Southwestern Advantage is OGJYD, which stands for: The Original Junk Yard Dogs. Meaning, we are the hardest working organization in Southwestern. We basically eat nails for breakfast. Our group works with students from Utah, Colorado, Arizona, Illinois, Minnesota, North Dakota, Florida, and Wisconsin.
